Trip itinerary templates for groups and families

Written by Eric Johnson, founder of TripSanity — some run from our own trips, the rest assembled from local advice threads and operator sites Updated October 2026

Real, complete itineraries — times, addresses, meet points, what to wear — not listicles. Each one names what it is: a few come from trips we ran ourselves, and the rest are assembled from local advice threads, operator and park sites, and traveler reports, then sequenced the same way. Every template is free to use however you like: print it, steal the structure, or tap “Use this itinerary” and it becomes a live shared trip your whole group opens from one link — no app to download, no accounts for your travelers.

How a template becomes your trip

  1. Tap "Use this itinerary" (or "Use this template") on any template — every day and stop comes with it, nothing to copy or paste.
  2. Sign in with your email (free — we send a six-digit code, no password). Only you sign in.
  3. Pick a start date and a trip password — the days date themselves from it, and you can edit every stop.
  4. Send one link — your travelers open it in the browser they already have. That's it.
